Each year the Scientific Committee of SIOP organises the programme of the annual SIOP meeting. In order to do this in the best possible way, the “Scientific Programme Advisory Committee” (SPAC) is active since 2008. The SPAC consists of experts in specific fields ofpaediatric oncology and is asked for ideas on interesting topics and speakers for the upcoming SIOP congresses. From these suggestions and the suggestions of the local organising committee the Scientific Committee will compose the list of symposia, keynote lectures and meet the expert sessions.

The SPAC members will rotate every 3 years in order to refresh ideas and people and to increase the number of experts involved in SIOP, in order to continuously renew and, thus, improve the quality of the scientific programme.
