SIOP led constituency statement on Agenda item 11.2 – ‘Political declaration of the third high-level meeting of the General Assembly on the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases, and mental health’ to acknowledge the critical role of malnutrition and outcome of cancer and urging member states to provide support for nutrition through universal health coverage for children with cancer and other NCDs.
