The 1st Comprehensive Expert Meeting for Neuroblastomas will take place as a hybrid event on 27–28 July 2026 at the Kleinberger Auditorium, Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital in São Paulo, Brazil, bringing together leading national and international experts to discuss the latest advances in neuroblastoma research and clinical care.

Coordinated by Dr Vicente Odone Filho and Dr Nathalia Halley Neves, the meeting is designed for paediatric oncologists, trainees, pathologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, medical students and multidisciplinary professionals involved in paediatric oncology.

The two-day programme will explore the biology of neuroblastoma, molecular diagnostics, risk stratification, surgery, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplantation and emerging targeted therapies. Sessions will also address improving access to modern technologies, strengthening neuroblastoma care across Brazil, and establishing a national registry to support research and treatment development. The meeting concludes with a dedicated workshop on systematic data registration.

International speakers include Dr Giselle Saulnier Sholler (Penn State Hershey) and Dr Kate Matthay (UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital), alongside experts from leading Brazilian institutions, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration to improve outcomes for children with neuroblastoma.
