The SIOP Paediatric Psycho-Oncology (PPO) Network is committed to improving the care and well-being of children with cancer and their families by integrating psychological and psychosocial knowledge into paediatric oncology. The network ensures that psychosocial care becomes a core component of cancer treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation.

Scope

The SIOP PPO Network brings together psychosocial professionals from around the world to exchange research, support the integration of psychological insights into paediatric oncology, and strengthen collaboration across disciplines and countries. It promotes professional development and champions the routine inclusion of psychosocial care across the continuum of cancer care—from diagnosis through survivorship—with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes for young patients and their families.

All SIOP members are eligible to apply for leadership roles within the Network. Open positions are announced in the Weekly Bulletin, which goes to all SIOP members, and listed here.
