The Nursing Leadership Award is bestowed upon any present or past member of the Society for his/her substantial contributions to paediatric oncology nursing.

Nominee Criteria

The nominee should be selected based on these criteria:

  • someone who has significantly contributed to the goals of SIOP Nursing
  • someone who has worked with SIOP Nursing
  • someone who has made a scientific, clinical or educational achievement in paediatric oncology nursing

Selection Process

Final selection made by the SIOP Nursing Network Steering Committee.

Winner

SIOP will cover the following for you as part of the award:

  1. Free registration to the annual meeting
  2. Economy class round trip flight
  3. Taxi fare between the airport and the hotel
  4. 3 nights’ accommodation
  5. Honorary SIOP membership
