On World No Tobacco Day [Sun, May 31, 2026], SIOP joins the global health community to raise the alarm on tobacco and nicotine product exposure among young people.

As an official non-state actor at the 79th World Health Assembly, SIOP is actively advocating for childhood cancer, non-communicable diseases, and global health equity through side events and a joint constituency statement delivered by onsite delegate Prof. Maja Beck-Popovic.
