Constitution & By-laws
In July 2015, SIOP was granted status as an incorporated, not-for-profit entity in Switzerland. To meet the Swiss regulatory requirements, the old SIOP Constitution was revised. Based on the Assembly motion made and adopted during the SIOP 2014 Toronto Annual Business Meeting (ABM), amendments to the Constitution were ratified and we could move ahead with the society’s registration in Switzerland. In addition, SIOP has been granted tax-exempt status in Switzerland in January 2019. As per the Statutes, the SIOP membership reviews the Constitution at each ABM and adopts necessary changes.
