I have been in the nursing profession from 1982 as a Staff nurse, from 1996 as a Professional nurse. I have a Diploma in Midwifery and a Degree in community nursing and management obatained in 1999

I have worked with children with both Oncology and Haematology diseases since 2000 as a Professional Nurse.

In 2004 I obtained a Diploma in Oncology Nursing which has enabled me to do specialized oncology nursing. In 2014 I have worked as an Operational Manager doing induction of newly employed oncology nurses, doing departmental research, outreach programmes on nutrition, teenagers challenges and infection control.

Presently I am working at Chris Hani Baragwanath  Academic Hospital Paediatric Oncology / Haematology Unit.
