Teri Stewart RN(EC), MN/NP-Pediatrics
Teri Stewart RN(EC), MN/NP-Pediatrics, is a Nurse Practitioner within the Division of Oncology at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). She has dedicated her nursing career to specializing in pediatric hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant. Currently, she also serves as the nurse representative on the board of directors at the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO). In addition to her clinical practice, Teri has been involved in clinical trial coordination, post-secondary nursing education, as well as acted as a provincial case reviewer for patients accessing Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies and out-of-country cancer services. Her passion is patient and family-centred cancer care, and she has collaboratively developed and implemented an oncology patient and family advisory committee at CHEO, as well as participated in numerous other patient-centred quality improvements. She is thrilled to be a part of the local organizing committee for SIOP 2023 in Ottawa!
