The 25th Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group (TPOG) Congress, endorsed by SIOP, took place in Kuşadası, Türkiye from 9–12 April 2026, bringing together clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the globe.

The congress provided a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, highlighting the latest advances in paediatric oncology and reinforcing the importance of international collaboration in improving outcomes for children with cancer.

A distinguished faculty of speakers contributed to a rich scientific programme. In-person sessions featured leading experts including Marry van de Heuvel-Eibrink (Netherlands) and Jaume Mora (Spain), while virtual contributions were delivered by Uri Tabori (Canada) and Uri Ilan (Netherlands). Additional speakers included Asim Belgaumi (Dubai), Sima Jeha (USA), Rawad Rihani (Jordan), and Alia Ahmad (Pakistan), alongside guest experts Holger Lode (Germany), Aleksandra Wieczorek (Poland), and Semi Harrabi (Germany) in addition to local expert oncologists from Türkiye!

Several speakers also contributed to the pre-congress course, supporting early-career professionals and fostering capacity building across regions.

Reflecting on the congress, SIOP Secretary General Rejin Kebudi highlighted the strong spirit of collaboration and the diversity of expertise brought together at the meeting. With over four days of scientific exchange, the event underscored a shared global commitment to advancing research, improving care delivery, and strengthening networks in paediatric oncology.
