DKMS, an international non-profit organisation dedicated to the fight against blood cancer, has opened the call for applications for the DKMS John Hansen Research Grant 2026. This prestigious award supports innovative research in blood stem cell transplantation and cell therapy for haematological diseases.
About the Grant
Each year, DKMS Stiftung Leben Spenden honours the legacy of Professor John Hansen by funding outstanding early-career scientists from around the world. For 2026, up to four researchers will be selected, each receiving €240,000 over three years to advance their projects.
The grant aims to strengthen the next generation of scientific leaders who are working to improve treatment outcomes and develop new therapies for patients affected by blood cancers and related conditions.
