Dear Colleagues and Partners,

We are pleased to invite any Study Group involved in childhood cancer (e.g. clinical trial group, research group, partner network or others) to apply for a meeting space during the upcoming SIOP 2026 Annual Meeting in San Antonio (September 15 – 18).

This is a unique opportunity for specialized groups to hold open/closed and joint sessions, facilitating high-level research exchange and international cooperation.

Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2026
Venue: Henry B. González Convention Center, 900 E Market St, San Antonio, TX 78205, USA
Time: 08.30am – 12:30pm noon CDT (or half of this slot; you can indicate preferred duration in the online application form)

The time slots are specifically intended for:

  • “Working Together” Meetings: Focused on collaboration and active discussion rather than formal presentations.
  • Flexible Access: Sessions can be either Open or Closed, depending on your Group’s preference.
  • International Scope: Designed to foster global dialogue within the paediatric oncology community

What is Included?
Accepted applications will receive:

  • Complimentary Hall Rental within the meeting venue.
  • Basic AV Support (Screen, projector, and microphones).

Please Note: Any additional requirements, such as catering or specialized AV equipment, must be coordinated and funded by the individual group.

Requirements & Selection

  • Registration: All attendees must be registered for the main SIOP 2026 Meeting.
  • Review Process: All applications will be reviewed by the SIOP Scientific Committee for final confirmation

Please be aware that this is a call for Wednesday morning 16th of September only.
A separate call for applications will be issued later for the smaller rooms offered to members and committees during the Educational Day(Tuesday 15th)  for group meetings as in previous years.
