The International Pediatric Association (IPA) and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) are jointly organizing an International Quiz for Final-Year Pediatric Trainees, held in conjunction with PEDICON 2027, the 64th National Conference of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, in Coimbatore, India, on January 27-31, 2027. SIOP has been invited to nominate two teams, each made up of two final-year trainees, to represent the society.

Online preliminary rounds run from November 1 to 14, 2026, in English, Spanish, and French. Finalists will compete in the physical round at PEDICON 2027 on January 30, conducted in English, and will also have the opportunity to present an oral or poster presentation in the open category. The PEDICON Organizing Committee covers competition expenses, including the digital platform, the question bank, and hospitality for finalists in Coimbatore. Cash prizes are USD 5,000 for first place, USD 3,000 for second, and USD 2,000 for third.
