The SIOP Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine Working Group (RPM WG), part of the SIOP Supportive Care Network, is seeking self-nominations for one Co-Chair and three Steering Group members. The Co-Chair position is open only to candidates from high-income countries, while Steering Group candidates from any country are welcome. Each position has a three-year term, starting immediately after the elections.
The working group is multidisciplinary, and physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physicians, and other professionals with experience in paediatric oncology rehabilitation and physical medicine are strongly encouraged to apply.
To be eligible, you must be a SIOP member with 2027 fees paid (renewals open on November 1, 2026) and a registered member of the Working Group, which you can join through SIOP CONNECT. You may apply for one position only. The group is specifically looking for colleagues who don’t currently hold any other SIOP leadership role, and anyone who does is asked to complete their current term before applying.
Self-nominations close on November 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM CET, and late submissions can’t be accepted. After the deadline, the Steering Group will shortlist up to three candidates per position, and Working Group members will vote.
