The SIOP Oceania Continental Branch invites nominations for the position of Young SIOP Representative for Oceania. This role provides an exciting opportunity for an early‑career professional to contribute to the regional paediatric oncology community and actively support the mission of SIOP across Oceania.
SIOP Oceania represents multidisciplinary members from across the region — including Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Island nations — working to improve childhood cancer care through advocacy, research, education, training, and strategic partnerships. In alignment with these goals, the Young SIOP Representative will play a key role in amplifying the voices and needs of young investigators and early‑career professionals across the region.

Role Overview
The Young SIOP Representative for Oceania will:
- Support opportunities for young investigators within SIOP Oceania, including education, networking, and research collaboration.
- Strengthen engagement between young members and broader SIOP committees and initiatives.
- Help disseminate information about SIOP activities, training, and regional opportunities.
- Contribute to building a vibrant, connected early‑career community within SIOP Oceania.
Eligibility
Nominees should:
- Be early‑career professionals (clinical, research, nursing, allied health, or related fields) working in paediatric oncology or a relevant discipline.
- Be current SIOP members residing within the Oceania region.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for collaboration, regional engagement, and advancing childhood cancer care.
