The St. Jude Global Neuro-Oncology Programme is excited to announce the new application season for their Virtual Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship (VPNOF). In 2022, five fellows were selected from five different countries for a first-of-its-kind virtual training and mentorship program including expert guidance and mentorship in pediatric neuro- oncology, all while remaining at their home institution. Fellowship duration is 18-24 months.
In 2023, St. Jude Global will be accepting six fellows to train with global mentors from among a panel of world-renowned pediatric neuro-oncologists through:
- virtual clinical guidance and case-by-case advice
- virtual tumor boards and teaching sessions
- career mentorship
- two one-month rotations at mentor’s institution
- clinical research and presenting at an international conference
Applicant Criteria
- MD degree or equivalent
- Fellowship-trained pediatric oncologist
- Within ten years since end of fellowship
- Demonstrated interest in pediatric neuro-oncology
- Working in a PHO unit that is part of a SJ Global Alliance member institution
