World Child Cancer, in partnership with the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, is offering one fully-funded, two-year Paediatric Oncology Fellowship placement at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra — Ghana’s recognised centre of excellence for childhood cancer care.
What the fellowship includes:
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly living allowance (Accra)
- Books and training materials
- 3-month international rotation (India)
- Travel and conference support
Who can apply:
- Qualified paediatricians
- From a Sub-Saharan African country, outside Ghana
- Supported by your country’s Ministry of Health
- Committed to returning to your home country after training
What is the fellowship?
A two-year specialist fellowship in paediatric oncology, designed to equip paediatricians with the skills to diagnose, treat, and lead childhood cancer services across Sub-Saharan Africa.

- Completed application form
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Copy of medical degree and paediatric qualifications
- Letter of support from Ministry of Health confirming post-training placement
- Personal statement (max 1,000 words)
