We are getting closer to SIOP 2025, and we are excited to meet most of you there in Amsterdam in a few days.

Hopefully, most of you would already have planned your trips. In contrast to SIOP 2024 , we will have “in-person” GHN Annual Assembly this year.

SIOP GHN Annual Assembly

Date: Sunday, October 19

Time: 13:00 – 16:00 CEST

Venue: RAI Amsterdam, Entrance G, Europaplein 24, 1078 GZ Amsterdam, Netherlands

Room: Room G109 ( located on the First Floor of the congress venue) – see map here

Access: as official registration to the congress is not set-up yet, please collect a special visitor pass at the entrance to access the venue and the meeting

Agenda: we will present the progress of GHN Working Groups, illustrating activities over last 1 year, and sharing the plans for the coming year. We have invited all leaders of all GHN WGs to prepare brief presentations.

As you know, this meeting is inclusive for all SIOP/SIOP GHN members so, kindly invite your friends and colleagues who are attending SIOP 2025 to join us on 19th October 2025!

We are scheduled a strong Education Day plan with following four sessions:

  1. BEST OF GHN FREE PAPER SESSION
  1. “Pediatric Palliative Oncology Across Cultures: Empathy, Humility, and Human Connection”
  1. THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON CHILDHOOD CANCER RISK, ACCESS TO CARE AND OUTCOMES
  2. UPDATES ON GLOBAL COLLABORATIVE DRIVES ON CHILDHOOD CANCERS

Additionally, we have two more sessions on Thursday, 23rd October:

  1. Survival outcomes and care of Pediatric Cancer Survivors in low resource settings
  2. “Transforming Pediatric Cancer Care in Low resource settings: SIOP-led Collaborative Initiatives”
