Please join us for a short webinar launching the SIOP Mentorship Project which will feature a short talk by Dr. Scott Howard on mentorship.

At this meeting, Dr Scott Howard will talk about the role of mentors in shaping the career of young paediatric oncology professionals. In addition, Dr Ahmed Kamal, a member of the SIOP Supportive Care Network, will introduce the SIOP Mentorship Project, which will pair five mentors with five mentees who see guidance in career development. The SIOP Mentorship Project is an initiative of the SIOP Supportive Care Network and is open to SIOP members under the age of 40 years.

Dr. Scott Howard is the CEO of Resonance, an organization focused on improving global health through research, education, and technology. He is a paediatric hematologist/oncologist at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and a health economics professor at the University of Tennessee. With extensive experience in internal medicine, paediatrics, and epidemiology, he has worked for 20 years in paediatric oncology, specializing in supportive care, informatics, and international oncology.
