A case study of an 8-year-old boy with Thalassemia Major and CVHG lung, who underwent a bone marrow transplant.  Following the transplant, he developed Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD), and despite treatment, his condition worsened. As the family’s only son, his parents struggled to accept the prognosis. Honoring the child’s heartfelt wish to return home, the care team provided family counseling and facilitated a compassionate transition to home-based care. Dilnasheen will highlight how a multidisciplinary approach supported the child’s comfort, guided the family toward acceptance, and upheld the child’s dignity at end of life.
