IPOS has launched a new International Delphi Study on Psychosocial Oncology, and SIOP is pleased to share this important initiative with our network.

Currently, there is no global consensus on the core competencies required for healthcare professionals to effectively deliver psychosocial oncology care. This study aims to address that gap by working toward international agreement on two key objectives: defining core competencies for practitioners delivering psychosocial oncology care, and identifying key indicators to evaluate how well psychosocial care is being integrated into routine cancer treatment worldwide.

Establishing this consensus will help strengthen training, expand curricula, and support the broader integration of psychosocial care into standard cancer treatment globally.

How to participate: Complete the first round survey via Qualtrics (approximately 20 minutes). As a multi-round Delphi study, you may be invited to participate in subsequent rounds to help refine and reach consensus.
