WSPID Call to Action
The Call to Action was officially launched during the WSPID congress in Durban, South Africa, on 17 November 2023.
Ensuring Fair Prices for All Vaccines for All Countries with Limited Resources
- Vaccine price should not be a barrier to vaccine introduction and the sustainability of immunization programs.
- WSPID is calling for the urgent need to ensure fair pricing for all vaccines to ensure they will be “global public goods.”
- Addressing the systemic issue of unaffordable vaccine prices requires a comprehensive, multi-stakeholder approach – hence the call to professional associations, non-profits, civil society, and individuals to sign the Call to Action.

2024 IPALA Leadership Academy
IPALA (the International Pediatric Academic Leaders Association) is calling for participants to join the IPALA Leadership Academy – a year long online program interactive program. Topics include leadership attributes, working with teams, financial management and academic leadership in education and research.
The program aims to support pediatricians in any stage of their career develop their leadership potential and offers the opportunity for participants to meet like-minded people from different countries.

IPA Disaster Relief Fund
IPA has established a disaster relief fund to help children, their families, and the pediatric workforce in any country affected by natural or humanitarian disasters. The donations will be distributed in collaboration with the regional society upon the request of the national society where the aid is needed.
