Dear Members of the SIOP Nursing Network,
Nominations/self-nominations are welcome for the positions of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the SIOP Nursing Network by Feb 15, 2024, at 12pm noon CET. Both Chair and Vice-Chair are part of the Nursing Network’s Steering Group.
Before you apply, please be sure to read the Terms of Reference (TOR) and 2023-2027 Strategic Plan of the Nursing Network. The Chair and Vice-Chair must have leadership skills and prior leadership experience. Responsibilities of each role are described in the TOR. The elected Vice-chair person will enter into the position immediately; the Chair position will begin in October 2024 following the SIOP Annual Congress.
Each position carries a 3-year term and only the Chair position is a SIOP-Board level position. Please also note that the Vice-Chair position does not automatically advance to Chair, as each position requires a separate nomination and election process in keeping with SIOP bylaws and procedures.
To apply, please submit a CV and a motivation letter (max 2 pages) outlining the candidate’s experience and expertise and desired areas of leadership and contribution over the coming 12-24 months. Only SIOP nurse members with membership fees paid for 2024 are eligible for nominations.

Following the nominations, the Steering Group will review and narrow down the list to no more than 3 candidates per seat who will be shared with the members for voting.
