SIOP nurses who would like to learn how to develop and implement a nursing research study should apply for the SIOP Nursing Science Fellowship that will be funded by a Sanofi My Child Matters (MCM) nursing grant.  MCM nursing grant applications are now open and due by February 16, 2026. A separate application for the SIOP Nursing Science Fellowship is found on the MCM nursing grant application website. Dr. Marilyn Hockenberry is the coordinator for this program.

Year 1: SIOP Nursing Science Fellows complete a research course and develop a research proposal with a nurse researcher mentor.

Years 2-3: SIOP Nursing Science Fellows implement the research study and prepare findings for presentation and publication.
