The 6th Hybrid Annual Pakistan Paediatric Neuro-oncology Symposium (6thPNOS) focuses on the pivotal theme: “Global Standardization in the Management of Childhood Brain Tumors”.

Childhood brain tumors remain one of the most complex and life-threatening paediatric cancers, requiring a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach. The disparities in outcomes between high-income countries and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are stark — largely due to differences in early detection, access to specialized care, and the availability of standardized treatment protocols.

This symposium seeks to address these challenges by promoting alignment with internationally recognized standards of care. By focusing on regional adaptation of global best practices, this event will help pave the way for more unified, equitable, and effective care pathways in paediatric neuro-oncology, particularly in LMICs.
