MEP Vlad Voiculescu (Renew, Romania) and MEP Romana Jerkovic (S&D, Croatia) are kindly co-hosting and co-organising a high-level policy event on the occasion of Gold September – Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with the participation of SIOP Europe and CCI Europe.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 23 September 2025 (17:00 – 19:00 CEST) at the European Parliament, Brussels (SPAAK 7C50).
This event will focus on how the implementation of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the EU Cancer Mission has addressed the needs of children with cancer to date, and the ongoing priority needs for our Community that must be considered in the next EU budget.
Policymakers, researchers, healthcare professionals, and patient advocates will be all contributing to the discussion and underline the critical role played by the European Union in ensuring that no child is left behind in the fight against cancer.
