In December 2025, SIOP Asia proudly concluded a highly successful second series of in-person Meet‑Ups across 12 countries and 15 cities, gathering over 470 healthcare professionals dedicated to improving childhood cancer care.

In Beirut, Tashkent, Astana, Tehran, Dhaka, Lahore, Taichung, Karachi, Jabalpur, Bangalore, Noida, Moscow, Baku, Baguoy City and Guangzhou, the SIOP Asia Ambassadors and SIOP Members created welcoming spaces for open dialogue, highlighting challenges such as early diagnosis, medicine shortages, treatment abandonment, and the need for stronger psychosocial support; they also celebrated progress in multidisciplinary teamwork, bone marrow transplantation, regional collaborations, and young investigator engagement.

Each Meet‑up gathered between 16 to 100+ participants, most of them SIOP members, reinforcing the collective commitment to strengthening pediatric oncology across Asia.

SIOP Asia and the SIOP Secretariat extends a heartfelt appreciation to all hosts, who led these inspiring gatherings and helped deepen connection, learning, and shared purpose across the region.
