The 7th Annual Meeting of the took place in Glasgow from 4–7 May 2026, bringing together the international paediatric oncology community for four days of collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange. Hosted at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), the meeting welcomed healthcare professionals, researchers, young oncologists, nurses, psychosocial experts, parents, survivors and advocates united by a shared mission: increasing cure rates for children and adolescents with cancer while improving quality of life for survivors.

This year’s edition was particularly special, with an impressive:

  • 1,310 attendees

  • 354 faculty members
  • 125 sessions

Members of the SIOP Secretariat, alongside many board leaders and members from across the global SIOP community, were proud to take part in the congress and contribute to the vibrant discussions shaping the future of childhood cancer care.

The Annual Meeting featured a dynamic four-day programme including educational sessions, interactive workshops, plenary discussions and forums led by European Clinical Trial Groups, Working Groups, Young Oncologists, and parent and survivor representatives. Topics ranged from advances in diagnosis and therapy to artificial intelligence, epidemiology, survivorship, psychosocial care, radiation oncology and patient involvement.

Held in partnership with CCI Europe, the congress continued to emphasise the importance of collaboration between clinicians, researchers, patients and families in driving progress across paediatric oncology.

We are incredibly proud that so many colleagues from around the world joined us in Glasgow to tackle the key challenges facing children and adolescents with cancer. Beyond the outstanding scientific and educational programme, the meeting also provided valuable opportunities to reconnect with peers, build new partnerships and celebrate the strength of the global paediatric oncology community.

We hope all participants enjoyed both the Annual Meeting and their time in Glasgow, and we look forward to continuing this momentum together in the years ahead.
