About the Webinar
This presentation will explore the development and clinical application of a biofeedback-based virtual reality (VR) game designed to support symptom management in children with cancer. The session will demonstrate how integrating physiological signals—such as heart rate and stress responses—into immersive VR environments can help reduce pain, anxiety, and distress during clinical procedures.
Participants will gain insight into:
- The design and implementation of biofeedback-driven VR interventions
- Preliminary findings on clinical feasibility and patient engagement
- The role of non-pharmacological, digital interventions in enhancing patient-centered care in pediatric oncology
This webinar highlights the growing potential of innovative, technology-driven solutions to improve symptom management and quality of care for children with cancer.
