Dear SIOP Leaders,

Please take a few minutes to see the variety of activities offered last month as well as a few updates and opportunities. Many thanks go to the 200+ SIOP leaders who worked in various Networks, WGs, SIGs, Committees and Continents to offer the activities.

Highlights

• 245 SIOP members attended our webinars and events in June 2025. Overall, for 2025 to date, we have had 2,544 unique attendees to our online events, with some people attending multiple events.
• The list of open leadership opportunities at SIOP is here – nominations for open positions are welcome.
• The SIOP WhatsApp Announcement Channel has become an active communications channel with 834 channel members.
• 2025 Annual Congress (Amsterdam) – registration is open here. Early bird registration deadline is July 23! We encourage you to register as early as possible.

Updates on the Initiatives across the Society

• SIOP Nursing Network held an educational webinar on Grief and Bereavement: A Case Report on 6/18/25.
• The SIOP President and Secretary-General hosted an Open Forum on 6/10/25.
• The SIOP GHN held a quarterly business meeting on 6/12/25.
• The SIOP PPO Network selected Dr Valerie Yap for the Tori Willard Early Career Award.
• The SIOP GHN Psychosocial Support WG and the SIOP Survivorship Network held a webinar on Filling the Gap: The Importance of Psychosocial Screening and Support in Early Survivorship on 6/25/25.
• SIOP and CCI marked the 2025 Survivorship Week with two webinars held on 6/28/25. SIOP Advocacy Committee celebrated Survivors month with a joint message from the SIOP Tobacco Advocacy Task Force and SIOP Survivorship Network encouraging healthy living after childhood cancer.
