Short Bio:
Viviana Trigoso, MCS, is a clinical psychologist with a Master’s in Clinical Health Psychology, specialized in psycho-oncology. She is a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) and a consultant on health projects.Viviana coordinates the Psychosocial Project from the WHO/PAHO Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer in Latin America and the Caribbean. This project has a participative approach and aims to improve psychosocial care in pediatric cancer through the development of a model adapted to resource-limited contexts. She is a founding member of the National Association of Psycho-oncology of Peru (ANPPe) and the Latin American Network of Psycho-oncology (RELPO). Additionally, she is an active member of the Society for Pediatric Psychology (SIOP), the PUCP Psychology and Health Research Group: Healthy Environments (GPyS), the International Psycho-oncology Society (IPOS), and the Latin American Society of Pediatric Oncology (SLAOP).
