We are delighted to announce that Suzanne Turner (UK) has been elected Secretary-General Elect by the SIOP membership. She begins serving in the Elect role immediately, with her three-year term as Secretary-General commencing in September 2026.

Professor Turner is based at the University of Cambridge, where she is Professor of Childhood Cancer Biology. An active SIOP member for many years, she has contributed through the International Scientific Committee and other advisory roles, and is widely recognised for her leadership in translational childhood cancer research.
