The presentation underscores the critical role of timely, coordinated multidisciplinary team interventions in stabilizing the patient and improving outcomes.

Celine Sein Kilanya, is a pediatric oncology nurse leader and educator at Kenyatta National Hospital, Kenya’s largest national referral and teaching facility. With over a decade of frontline experience, she has led transformative quality improvement initiatives in chemotherapy safety, supportive care and nurse training. Celine holds a Master’s degree in Oncology Nursing from the University of Nairobi and is deeply invested in strengthening cancer nursing capacity across low-resource settings. She is passionate about creating sustainable change in childhood cancer care and ensuring every child receives timely, dignified, and high-quality treatment.
