WCRF International will launch its 2025/26 grant call on 8 September, inviting grant applications on diet, nutrition, body composition & physical activity in cancer. The Regular Grant Programme (senior researchers) & INSPIRE Research Challenge (early career) close for outline applications on 4 Nov 2025.
Key dates
- Outline application stage for both grant calls: 9:00 BST 8 September 2025 to 17:00 GMT 4 November 2025.
- Full application stage: January 2026 (IRC), February 2026 (RGP).
Regular Grant Programme (RGP)
Applicants should be senior established researchers and can be based in any country outside of the Americas. This year, in addition to the standard remit, studies investigating environmental exposures relevant to cancer are accepted, provided they are ingested dietary or drinking water contaminants. INSPIRE Research Challenge (IRC)
Applicants should be early career researchers (2-7 years post-PhD or equivalent higher research degree) and can be based anywhere in the world. In addition to the standard remit, this grant call welcomes applications investigating other modifiable exposures including stress, sleep, immune function and environmental exposures.
