Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming educational webinar:
Integrative Oncology in Pediatric Cancer Care: Global Perspectives and 10 Years of Implementation organized by the GHN Traditional & Complementary Medicine Working Group.

• Date: Monday, March 16, 2026
• Time: 15:00 CET / Geneva
• Registration: https://members.siop-online.org/event/March16
• You will need your SIOP username and password to register

In this session, participants will gain insights into the global landscape of integrative oncology within pediatric cancer care. The webinar will explore evidence-based traditional and complementary medicine approaches, the role of integrative pediatrics in oncology, and reflections on a decade of implementation experience.

We will discuss challenges and opportunities in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)—with a particular focus on Latin America, including the Brazilian experience in academic and NCI clinical settings—and examine strategies for safe, effective integration within multidisciplinary teams. The session will also address policy considerations aligned with the WHO Global Strategy on Traditional Medicine 2025–2034, including evidence generation, regulation, implementation, and collaboration.
