In this educational webinar, you will learn more about physical activity interventions in childhood cancer patients during and after treatment. In addition, it addresses how exercise and physical activity mitigate musculoskeletal complications, metabolic and endocrine disorders of young paediatric cancer survivors.
Speaker: Andres Marmol-Perez, PhD
Dr. Andres Marmol-Perez is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Granada (Spain) and former Fulbright Scholar at the Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Control, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (United States). His research focus has mainly involved understanding how non-pharmacological interventions (i.e., exercise and physical activity) mitigate musculoskeletal complications, metabolic and endocrine disorders of childhood cancer survivors.
