WEBINAR: RADIOTHERAPY IN NEUROBLASTOMA

Dr. Geert Janssens (MD, PhD, Associate Professor) is a pediatric radiation oncologist affiliated to the Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology / University Medical Center Utrecht in the Netherlands.

Over the last decade his topics of interest in pediatric oncology have been focused on (1) upper abdominal tumors (renal tumors & neuroblastoma), and brain tumors (high-grade glioma, craniopharygioma) including late effects in childhood cancer survivors, the (2) implementation of state-of-the-art radiotherapy approaches in pediatric cancers, and (3) internationalization, aiming to decrease disparities in pediatric radiotherapy among the SIOP-Europe member states. He is (co-)project leader of a number of granted projects related to the aforementioned topics. In addition to a number of society functions he has supervised/supervises 10 PhD-projects and has (co-)authored >150 publications.
