The Young SIOP Network is pleased to announce our preliminary programme and schedule of events for SIOP 2025 in Amsterdam!
We are so excited this year to be expanding our offerings to enhance the congress experience of our Young SIOP members and to create meaningful memories and networking opportunities.
Our Education Day is jam-packed! New this year, following our morning sessions focused on professional development, we are splitting our afternoon sessions into two tracks. One, in collaboration with the general SIOP Education Day, will focus on clinical advancements such as precision medicine, cellular therapies, and novel diagnostics. The second, designed to meet the needs and interests of our allied health professionals, has two joint sessions on the impacts of climate change on pediatric cancer care, and on quality of life outcomes through a rehabilitation framework. We will also be highlighting our 2025 Rising Star winner, Dr Shushan Hovsepyan. Full program details can be found on the SIOP 2025 congress website.
Our annual expert lunch registration is OPEN! Join us for lunch on October 20th to network with peers and meet an expert in a field of your choosing. This event is free to attend but is first-come, first-served. Don’t delay! Registration Link Here.
This year, our YSN Collaborative Event looks a little different… we are going BOWLING! Please join us on October 22nd between 16:00-17:30 to have a little fun and a snack, meet some friends, peer mentors, and featured senior partners. A small entrance fee applies this year for attendees from high-income countries. There are a limited number of tickets to bowl, so secure your ticket now! If tickets have run out, please join our waitlist here. We are seeking institutional and individual sponsorship to help support this inaugural event; if you are interested in helping to make this event a phenomenal success, please contact us by email.
Finally, we are working on an inaugural Young SIOP Hub for this year’s congress. This will feature coffee break meet-ups by continental branch, a YSN table in the exhibition hall to meet and chat with YSN leaders and get key information, dinner meet-ups, and a Spotlight Session (October 23rd, 11:30-12:00), where you can learn all about the Young SIOP Network and where we will also be presenting the 2025 Leadership Assembly. Coming soon – a downloadable google calendar with all of our events highlighted and a shareable document featuring information, registration links, and information about where to stay and go in Amsterdam!
