Dear YSN,

Have you registered for SIOP 2023 in Ottawa yet? There’s still time before the July 18th early-bird deadline! We can’t wait to host you at our annual Education Day event. Our program is now finalized and can be found on the congress website – be sure to check it out!  We are so excited for our joint sessions with Global Health, Nursing, Supportive Care, CCI, and the AYA node this year. Our Expert Lunch registration link is also LIVE; sign up now to save your spot! Stay tuned for more information on our Collaborative Event sponsored by Texas Children’s Global HOPE program, registration link coming soon.

We are very pleased to celebrate and highlight this year’s Rising Star winner, Dr. Chalinee Monsereenusorn, who will be joining us for a short talk on our Education Day program. Our congratulations also go out to this year’s fifteen Young Investigator Award winners and those selected for scholarship support from Sanofi Foundation’s My Child Matters program. Please be sure to follow our Social Media accounts and blog for our award-winner profiles in the coming months!

The YSN has grown considerably in recent years and our leadership team is keen to adapt and grow with you. Our Membership Engagement working group will be rising to this challenge by expanding and rebranding to enhance our outreach and collaborative efforts with Young SIOP members and groups around the world. We look forward to exploring education, mentorship, and other opportunities year-round, but we need your input. Please get in touch with any ideas you might have and be sure to provide your feedback on upcoming surveys and evaluation forms! We are also always excited to welcome new volunteers and members to our working groups.

Have a wonderful few months and come introduce yourself in Ottawa this October!
