Highlights

• 136 SIOP members attended our webinars and events in Aug 2025. Overall, for 2025 to date, we have had 3,020 unique attendees to our online events, with some people attending multiple events.
• 2025 Annual Congress (Amsterdam) – registration is open here. The regular registration deadline is Sept 29, 2025, after which rates become more expensive.

Updates on the Initiatives across the Society

• The SIOP Nutrition Network held a webinar on “Nutritional Screening and Assessment in Pediatric Oncology: Perspective from Türkiye” on 8/27/25.
• The SIOP Nursing Network held a webinar on “Multidisciplinary Management of Pediatric Oncology Emergencies in a Child with Burkitt Lymphoma” on 8/20/25.
• The SIOP Survivorship Network, together with Young SIOP Network, held a webinar on “Building Knowledge and Bridging Gaps in Childhood Cancer Survivorship Research” on 8/27/25.
• The SIOP SCN Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine WG held a webinar on “Paediatric Oncology Rehabilitation Career Journeys”.
• The SIOP Secretariat created a webpage with all off-site meetings and events which will take place around the Congress days. Please explore and join those of interest.
• The SIOP Scientific Committee accepted late-breaking abstracts for the Congress.

Open SIOP Leadership Opportunities:

• Currently, there are multiple leadership opportunities ; we are accepting self-nominations
• Voting is ongoing for PPO leadership positions.
