We are delighted to congratulate Prof. Gevorg Tamamyan on receiving the SLACOM 2026 Award for Global Oncology Leadership, presented by the Latin American and Caribbean Society of Medical Oncology (SLACOM).
The award was presented by SLACOM President and past President of UICC, Prof. Eduardo Cazap, during the SLACOM reunion held alongside the ASCO Annual Meeting 2026.
Prof. Tamamyan is Chair of the Department of Hematology and Pediatric Oncology at Yerevan State Medical University, Editor-in-Chief of OncoDaily, President of the SIOP Asia Continental Branch, and a member of the SIOP Board of Directors.
On receiving the award, Prof. Tamamyan shared:
