Nicklaus Children’s Health System is seeking a Medical Director to lead one of South Florida’s premier pediatric hematology/oncology programs. The role offers strategic and clinical leadership across the Institute’s full care continuum — including stem cell and bone marrow transplant, sickle cell disease, and related subspecialty programs — with oversight of a growing clinical trial portfolio (currently more than 40 active cancer-related studies) and continued Children’s Oncology Group membership.

The successful candidate will drive academic growth through an expanded collaboration with FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, direct deployment of the Institute’s Cancer Connect Collaborative Research Incubator Fund, and help advance translational and precision medicine research from bench to bedside. The position also carries significant external engagement responsibilities, partnering with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation, donors, and state health officials to sustain philanthropic and state-funded research investment.

This is an opportunity for a physician-leader to shape both the clinical and research future of a nationally recognized pediatric cancer program.
