Daniel Ortiz-Morales is pediatric oncologist from Mexico City, graduated from pediatrics and pediatric oncology from the Instituto Nacional de Pediatria in Mexico City. He had been working for 8 years at Hospital General de México. During these years he had been  looking to improve childhood awareness in med schools students and health care professionals in training,  and enforce childhood cancer human resourses to create networks for collaboration and research. One of his professionals aims, beside improve childhood cancer outcomes, is to connect people with common objectives local, regional and worldwide, that why three years ago he decided to join Young SIOP social media committee to get in touch with other professionals around the world, where worked smoothly with all the team, and now he has the opportunity to collaborate with this project as chair of the Social Media Committee.  Also he is PhD candidate at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, part of the Research Committee in the Agrupación Mexicana de Onco-hematología pediatrica, the national society for pediatric oncology and the treasurer of the Sociedad Latinoamericana de Oncología Pediátrica, the continental branch of SIOP Latin America.
