Happy Int’l Women’s Day – 2024 SIOP Almanac of Women Leaders
The first inspirational woman who is featured in the Almanac is Dr. Odile Schweisguth (1913-2002). She is widely celebrated for her pioneering work in paediatric oncology and for her instrumental role in establishing this branch of medicine as a recognized discipline in its own right and being a co-founder of SIOP.
