The 7th One Retinoblastoma World Conference will take place on October 15-17, 2024 in Honolulu, Hawaii preceding SIOP’s 56th World Congress from October 17-20, 2024. One Retinoblastoma World brings together patient families, survivors, Rb professionals, and scientists to learn from one another, understand the real-world challenges more deeply, and find practical solutions that can have the biggest impact on care, cure, and quality of life. Early detection of retinoblastoma can be challenging in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC’s) and, through One Rb World’s global impact, medical professionals from around the world will benefit from their colleagues’ advancements and cutting-edge research. Early detection is crucial to not only saving a child’s life, but trying to save as much vision as possible. 3-day child life programming will focus on medical play and healthy coping techniques for children, their siblings, and children of medical professionals.
