SIOP is pleased to present its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of growth, innovation and global collaboration in paediatric oncology. In 2025, SIOP membership grew to more than 4,100 members worldwide, while the SIOP 2025 Annual Congress in Amsterdam became the Society’s largest ever congress, welcoming 3,655 delegates from 127 countries.
Key advocacy achievements included co-hosting the Second Global OncoThon, the launch of the SIOP Advocacy Toolkit, and major engagement around International Childhood Cancer Day, Gold September and London Global Cancer Week. SIOP also strengthened its role as a WHO Non-State Actor, contributing to global discussions on non-communicable diseases, universal health coverage and access to medicines, helping secure the inclusion of childhood cancer in the 2025 UN High-Level Meeting declaration.
SIOP expanded its educational and networking initiatives through 66 online peer-to-peer educational events reaching more than 4,400 participants, the launch of the SIOP Asia Ambassadors Programme, and new congress initiatives including SIOP-NEXT, the Pharmacists Summit and the AI Evening. Throughout the year, SIOP Networks and Committees delivered major outputs supporting nursing, survivorship, research, global health and leadership development.
With continued investment in scholarships, awards and research capacity-building through the PARC Programme, SIOP remains committed to advancing equitable care, education and research for children and adolescents with cancer worldwide.
