25th International Week for Children with Leukemia (IWCL)

A Global Celebration of Hope

Each year, IWCL alternates between two experiences:

  • One year, our children travel abroad to represent Türkiye.
  • The next year, we host children from around the world, welcoming them to share joy, culture, and friendship in our country.

About the 2026 IWCL

Date: May 11-16, 2026

Location: Istanbul & Bursa, Türkiye

Age Range: Children aged 7-14

The week will include:

  • Cultural visits & city tours
  • Creative workshops
  • Public awareness events
  • Joyful celebrations and performances

Invitation

We kindly invite your foundation to nominate one child and one accompanying mother to represent your country.

Participation Details

Your organization’s responsibility:

  • International flight & visa costs

Covered by LÖSEV:

  • Accommodation
  • Meals
  • Domestic transportation
  • Full participation in all events

  • Only one child and one mother may represent each
  • Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served
  • Additional applications will be placed on a waiting
