Dr. Erika Damasco-Avila

Dr. Erika Damasco-Avila is a Research Scientist with the International Initiative for Pediatrics and Nutrition at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (USA). She previously served as a clinical nutritionist in the Hematology and Oncology Division at the Instituto Nacional de Pediatría in Mexico.

Her research focuses on nutritional management in pediatric oncology, with particular emphasis on addressing malnutrition and improving dietary care in low-resource settings.
