  • Members loved the diversity of our programs and activities — 400 attended at least one webinar in April 2026.

 

Updates on the Initiatives across the Society

  • The SIOP Women Leaders Network released the full 2026 SIOP Almanac of Women Leaders in Paediatric Oncology.
  • The SIOP SCN Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine WG held a webinar on “The Value of Palliative Rehabilitation for Children with Cancer” in collaboration with St Jude Global in Apr 2026.
  • The GHN AI WG held a webinar on “AI Solutions for Pathology in Pediatric Oncology” in Apr 2026.
  • The SIOP Nursing Network is announcing a call for QI Nurse Scholars applications. Two separate Cohorts will be launched this year: one for Spanish Language SIOP nurses and an English language Cohort.
  • SIOP GHN PROS WG and partners held an educational webinar on “Radiotherapy for Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumor” in Apr 2026.
  • The Young SIOP Network received many applications for the Rising Star Award and reviews are under way.
  • The SIOP Nursing Network held a webinar on “SIOP 2025 Top Abstracts: Spotlighting Nursing Scholarship in Childhood Cancer Care” featuring the four top nursing abstracts from the SIOP 2025 Congress; it also held a meeting for nurses interested in transition, early and late survivorship.
  • The SIOP Advocacy Cmt has revised its TOR which was approved by the Governance Committee.
  • The SIOP Scientific Cmt is scoring the many abstracts submitted for the Annual Congress and working on the Congress Program.
