At this week’s UICC General Assembly, full members from across the globe united virtually to welcome Ulrika Årehed Kågström as the new President and elect the Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term, including the new President-elect, Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu from Nigeria.
In addition to the election of the President-elect, the new UICC Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term was also voted in, representing 12 countries. They will continue to advance UICC’s mission of supporting global cancer control efforts.
We are very proud of the below SIOP members who have been voted as President Elect and on the new UICC Board of Directors for 2024 to 2026 and can continue to give a voice to childhood and adolescent cancer within UICC:

We are also very happy to see that Hana Chaar Choueib, Lebanon, General Manager, Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) has been re-elected as CCCL is one of the main drivers of the GICC in the region.
